Therapeutic Change for the Organisation

Our team of multi-diciplined therapists and coaches, are here to support you at every stage of organisational change.

We believe in proactively readying the organisation for the emotions they are likely to experience during the change, implementing the right support mechanisms in order to grow and build emotional resilience as the change happens, and solidifying the lived experience once the changes have been made in order to promote sustained, positive emotional health for the whole organisation.

“We empower your organisation and its people with the tools to help themselves so the support you receive lives beyond your work with us, supporting your people in building new 'muscle' that promotes long-lasting growth and positive change both at work and at home.’

Change in an organisation has impact far beyond the practical implementation of the change itself.

Any change, whether due to restructuring, redundancies or rewiring with new technology, impacts on dynamics within an organisations structure which can be challenging for individuals as well as the organisation as a whole.

Some employees will leave while others develop survival mechanisms that do not serve themselves or their colleagues well. This can lead to communications that are fraught with anxieties, directly causing increases in reported grievances, absence and long term sick leave.

Understanding these dynamics, proactively arming people with the knowledge on how they may experience change, and offering practical tools to help them manage their emotions as well as support others is at the heart of organisational therapy.

How do you build emotional resilience in your organisation, so change moves from a threat to be fought against, to an opportunity to be embraced?

Therapeutic change, where the organisation as a whole better understands conscious and unconscious responses how they may experience and respond to change, is a an important contribution to the success or failure of any change program. The emphasis on what can unconsciously pass between individuals being a significant determining factor.

If colleagues are not helped to understand this and how to express it in words, stresses can only unconsciously be conveyed through behaviour and they can be left feeling disillusioned and rejected. The impact being lost productivity and in extreme circumstances business paralysis through fear.

Helping staff make sense of these experiences is central to minimising and where possible avoiding these risks, as is understanding the unspoken cultural norms and the resulting dynamics of the organisation.

The Human but better™ approach uses a number of tools, techniques and services at every stage of the change beyond simply help people understand and manage their emotions; we weave mechanisms through the operational delivery of the program to authentically empower your humans that result in tangible financial outcomes for the business.
